Early vs late model fcv1150

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone here can give me some insight into the differences between the earlier model 1150s (pre 2017) and the later models?

I know they changed the screen set up in them but just wondering if that was the only change in the later model?

In 2017 they made a different power board than previous units. To use it with the older mainboard it was important that the software be updated on the system first but this new powerboard would work even with older hardware as long as you updated the software. In 2021 there was new mainboard due to discontinued parts. It required v2.05 software or better as it didn't support older software versions designed for the older mainboards. Any screen setup should be the same if the unit has it software updated. In 2023 one of the fans had to be changed for a newer type due to its production being discontinued. The FCV1150 is a long lived product and a great machine.

So no improvement in screen clarity or anything like that from earlier models?

Not any changes to the LCD that I see in the old bulletins.
