On my dual-helm boat I have an RDP139 at one station and a GD-1900C at the other connected with a Navnet network cable.
An RSB-0070 radar antenna is connected to the RDP139. The two displays are bad and need to be replaced. A vendor of used marine electronics near me suggests that a pair of RDP149s would be a drop-in replacement in my system since those are the only two devices on the Navnet. (I understand that I would be "upgrading" my network from Navnet 1 to Navnet VX2.)
Is this information correct? Will I have to set up the RDP149s in some way to act in a master/slave configuration?
