I was in the middle ofa 6 hour passage in the Bay of Fundy and the radar stopped with the message E0001 check wifi. I changed to another ipad and it worked for a minute, then stopped, and repeated the message. What could the problem be?

I would make sure that you have good power to the radar antenna. Also ensure that you do not have WiFi Assist or anything like that enabled on the device connected to the radar that may be switching off WiFi to look for a communications signal.

Most common to see that error when trying to run the app before being connected to the wi-fi signal of the radar. You must have a good wi-fi connection to the radar before attempting to use the APP.
