I have 2 navnet 3d 12 inch displays on my boat. Is there any way to set up different screens on each of the options on each units carousel. What I would like to do is set one display as my fishing display with all of my fishing way points one page with a bottom contour map on other pages same display would have different settings of my hddff1.
The other display would be my navigation display with various pages showing coastal, radar overlay and AIS. having two displays with premade templates I could vary my screens as I travel with out constantly resetting. What I have now is my bottom way points are global with all units and it clutters my charts.

Thanks John

If you haven't watched the training videos, you might find them very helpful on getting up to speed concerning the customizing your hot pages, along with the users manual.

Waypoint are synchronized between units so that database is the same at all locations. You can hide your waypoints to de-clutter the screen by using the roto-key selection.

Thanks for the quick reply, but what I was asking for is there any way for me to have different screens when I go through the carousel on each display without having to constantly changing the settings. I want one display dedicated as a fishing display my spots and fish finder where as the other would be without those way points and just be navigation or radar overlays without resetting each time I open that screen.

Thanks
John

If you use the GROUP feature, you can code your navigation points differently than your fishing points. It is possible to bring up a chart screen and display only the fishing points. Unfortunately each hotpage can be configured/spit how you want but each chart page will ALL be tied to how you setup your points to display. So if you customize a fishing points map and then flip to another display, it will also reflect the same fishing points unless you make a change in the points setup.

To add clarification.
If you have two MFDs, you can setup one display to show fishing points and the other MFD to show navigation points. Each display will follow the settings you customize but you can't customize individual settings for each hot page within a single MFD.

Thanks again.
This is what I was looking for. Can you point me to directions on how to set this up.
John

Basically, you need to assign a group type to all of your points. For example, you would take all your fishing points and assign them to the FISHING group and then assign all your navigation points to the NAVIGATION group. This allows the machine to know which is which. When you setup the fishing MFD, you would turn on the waypoints to SHOW on the plotter and then go under MENU - POINTS icon - General Tab - Select Manage Groups - Select each group other than fishing and turn off the VISIBLE setting. This will hide each group except fishing points on your fishing MFD.
