DFF3D Motion Sensor Setup

I am carrying out the initial setup for a DFF3D motion sensor selection on a TZT3 12 inch. I have a TM54 connected and have checked the motion sensor cable is connected. I am unable to select the internal motion sensor. Each time I select internal, the unit defaults to SC despite not having a satellite compass installed. I have tried resetting and the unit briefly selects internal and then switches to SC.

Any advice would be welcome on selecting the internal sensor.

That setting is stored in the DFF3D. It sounds like the DFF3D connection working well or the DFF3D is in a strange state. You might check over the connections, wiring, and DIP switches of the DFF3D to see if you can find a problem. If not; I would recommend a full reset of the DFF3D using DIP Swtich S2 #4. (Unplug power, turn on disp, power up for about 30 seconds, power off and put dip switch back to off) After the reset, setup all your DFF3D settings including turning on the use of the SAT compass.

Can you temporarily swap ethernet cables or plug DFF-3D directly into TZT?
