DFF3d location

This is a quick drawing of the placement for a new DFF3d transducer. I have an existing transducer on the opposing side that works well. I would like to mount the 165T-B54 in the same location opposite side. The drawing shows my deadrise which is 20-21 degrees and I have a short keel. If I am off slightly and the keel is on the edge or the sonar cone had bad will the effects be?
The boat has tunnels so there does not seem to be a better location.
Thanks

I have a near identical setup on my boat, just the opposite side for the transducer that works well. Mine is a straight 21-degree V hull with no drop on the keel itself. Without knowing the actual drop on your keel it is hard to determine the true angle that you looking at. But as long as it is less than a 30-degree angle from the transducer you should not see any clipping by the keel.
