DFF3 software upgrade for TZ2TBB

i have a TZ2Tbb at 6.26 is the software update for the DFF3 needed. The unit was working but has stopped working completely and now is in standby mode with blank screen. To perform upgrade on the DFF3 do you just connect the memory stick
to the USB1 on the TZ2TBB?

Does the DFF3 show up in the sensor list? If it doesn't show up in the sensor list, the system won't be able to update it.
