DFF3 Heave stopped working

Hi guys,
I have noticed my heave on my DFF3 has stopped working. It has worked fine for a couple of years.
The rest of the sounder works perfectly.
I can see the heave coming in on the plotter screen going +-.
I can toggle the heave on and off in the menu and I see no change on the surface line.
I tried re flashing the firmware to 2.01 and re installing TZ on the PC. No change.
I was going to drop a new ethernet cable on tomorrow just in case.

I think I have done most things.
Is there a way to check the heave is coming into the dff3 with the reflash tool?

Cheers Luke

Did you add a key pulse setup? If so, the slave unit will lose the ability to heave compensate.
There is a reset process in the operators manual for the DFF3. However, I would check with TimeZero first to see what they have to say. It could be as simple as a setting or data sourcing change.

If running TZT3 v3.70.1; ensure you don't have tide graph running in your data box. It is known bug that will load down the unit and others have reported it can prevent PBG. PBG also requires heading data, so ensure your pilot or heading source is turned on before bringing up the NavNet to ensure that you have good heading available.

Thanks Guys,
I have had another fiddle. 2 different computers no difference.
With the check version program it does show the heave being toggled off and on with a change from 0 to 1.

So my thought before I remove it and drop it in to the service tech.
Would be to re flash the firmware with a older version than 2.01 Lan/PC ( if you can find one for me?) and hope that does something even though it shouldnt logically work.
chhers Luke
