I just installed a dff1 in place of the etr10 I had. The dff1 came with a net gear junction box and some cables. I tried hooking the one cable that had a Ethernet end and round plug on the other up directly to the vx2 but it would detect the dff1 that way. I had to hook the net gear thing in the middle and power it up to get this working. Is there a cable I can purchase to eliminate the net gear and just go to the vx2 from dff1.
