Current set up and Y cable

Currently have a tzt3 system with two displays and a dff3d, tm904 chirp side scan, tm165 and p66 for bottom discrimination.

I know I can’t run all the transducers at same time and I am using them for different applications. I see that there is a y cable with 2 10 pin connections to 1 12 pin. If I got one of these cables and attached everything would I just have to select either the p66 or tm165 from internal menu instead of unplugging etc.

Thanks

The Y cable is intended to allow connection of paired low and high frequency transducers. There is only a single signal wire on each leg of the Y for that purpose. It is possible that if you connected the P66 and TM165, it would just drive the high frequency 200Hz element of the P66 and not the 50Hz so you would no longer have bottom discrimination.

I don't think you can do what you want to be honest because it would mean have a sounder driving three frequencies off the one port and it does not have that capability. Since you have two MFDs, why can't you just plug the P66 into one and the TM165 into the other? Then you just have to change the sounder source in the menu to determine which one is operating assuming the two MFDs are networked via ethernet.
