corrupted chart file

Hi,

Does anybody know how to delete a corrupted chart file? I have tried the official way, but get the message ¨A problem occurred during suppression of xxx file. please contact your dealer. When I try to repair it it says problem occured please reboot system. When rebooting windows error popup missing/corrupted file xxx please check disk utility.
How can I enter windows?

It sounds like the NN3D internal hard drive is damaged and should be evaluated for repair.

Is there a way that I can enter windows of the Navnet system and delete the file the hard way?

No, there isn't a windows program to work with. The core programming uses a windows type of OS but it is specially purpose programmed. It isn't a PC although you will see some errors that are in common with one. The hard drive most likely has damage. The service center can pull it and try to format and scan disc repair, then re-image the drive. If that works it might buy you some time, but if a hard drive start getting bad sectors it is normally a sign that it is on the way out. You could try pulling the drive and just running scan disk on it yourself but we can't talk you through the insides of the unit.
