Connection issues with ipad

From fly bridge there is a weak wireless connection to the tztouch2 displays with an iPad. You can connect but it will run slow. The boat is new aluminum construction and am wondering if there is a way to boost wireless connection to stop lag from iPad on flybridge. Only 15 to 20' away from the 2 15" displays. Newly installed 4/19. Any options available for remote antenna to flybridge? B

There isn't any official way to extend this on a TZT2 system. The only work-around I found on our bench was to connect and setup a wireless router per the document below (in the TZT section), connect the TZT2 to the router via Wi-Fi and then connect your iPad to the same router. Hopefully you could place the router somewhere that the iPad could better connect to than the TZT2 that is being impeded by the aluminum construction of your vessel. Again, this is not an officially supported method, just what I found to work.
