COMBING NEW GP-1870F

Hi guys,

I would like to know how to convert my old Garmin GPS waypoints to my new brand GP-1870F. :furuno
Wich is the waypoint format? Software you recomend?
The Micro USB port is not recognized in my PC. Is ther a special Furuno cable?

I have had good luck with http://www.andren.com software for converting points. It is a great tool. Right now, I think it is the only package that supports the new GP1870F/GP1650F format. They even offer a conversion service for $30 if you want them to do it for you. I can't make any promises, but if this is a one time conversion to your Furuno; tech support will normally try to help. You would open a support case and attach the points. (Support - Ask Furuno A Question)

New GP-1870F Waypoint format is not so usual? .pnt, are they?
Isn´t there an open tool to do this conversion?
