Thank you for your question. The next planned version of the FCV-585 will have some new and unique features but will not be a Chirp sounder.

Very good question, all I can say is that the reviews on the CHIRP sounders that are out there has been very mixed. We will need to test the waters to see how ours performs verses the competition. If we are successful I can see the CHIRP technology being incorporated into the small sounders.
