Recently updated the TZT3 and since cannot find tide stations? Any ideas?
Cannot locate Tide stations after upgrade.

If you go to the full screen chart plotter; swipe up from the bottom and turn ON "Tide Heights" and "Current Heights" under the "Overlays" tab, it should show tide icons and current icons on the chart on the land near the shore. The setting most likely defaulted to off during the software update.

Thank you, this did work prior to the upgrade, now it displays "cannot find tide stations"
Never saw a software upgrade the removed the tides/currents file but you can always load the world tide file onto your chart card.
You did not happen to select "complete system wipe" instead of "factory default delete all settings" when doing the reset, did you?

I have not. All of my user settings/data are still there. I will try to load the tides file. Is it obvious where in the file structure to place the file. Also the file should be unzipped correct?

Normally the file is loaded into memory as part of the system programming along with the base charts and demo file. It might be a sign that your update didn't go as well as thought. Reloading software might worth doing but if in a rush to just get the tide file, it can be downloaded and yes, unzipped before placing it onto your microSD card with the other normal charts. The unit will be able to see and use it from there.

Thanks for the help. Loading the file on the USB and connecting to TZT3, the tides and tide menu on home screen worked. Removing the USB caused the TZT3 to crash and reboot. I reinstalled the latest OS version and now the tides are available. The device did crash the next day again, but has been fine since.
