Hi
I have one question!!
I want to know Can i use rc42 simrad heading sensor instead PG1000 for navnet 1834 or 1954 and
I want to know if target tracking with arpa11 in these radars work probably in manual and auto mode?
Best regards

The 1834 and 1954 radars are older and do not support NMEA 2000. The RC42 is a NMEA 2000 compass. You can't use it without building a NMEA 2000 bus and converting the data to 0183.

If you are using an APRA board (which doesn't normally come inside these models unless purchased separately), you MUST have AD10 (not 0183) heading data at 25ms or faster. I just don't see how you plan to make that work.

Oh thank you for response to my question rc42 hase two out put format
Nmea 2000 and nmea 0183 and when i connect nmea0183 out put to pins 3 ,4 data2 nav net i have heading in the up right corner of my monitor And when i connect pg 1000 or pg500 heading sensor to nav net according to installations manual i have heading in the up right corner of my monitor but I don’t know why when i use ACQ soft key For tracking one target i hear beep beep :angry :angry and i see no thing :questions :questions
