Can a DI-FFAMP be tested for power output?

Goodtime

I have a tzt3 12 with DI-FFAMP to a cm599lh 3kw. It seems I'm not getting the power that is needed to the transducer. I can only mark bottom in 1100ft. Never mark anything. Running on auto fishing

Ok thanks
Have you checked the transmit rate and transmit power settings in the initial setup menu? Transmit should be set to manual and 20. Transmit power should be set to 10. Also make sure auto gain offset is zero. What happens if you use manual gain and crank it up high?

If you're not an electronics expert, verify your settings, factory reset it, set it back up, and if no better, send it in... One way to test it is to start with a known impedence of the transducer at a given frequency, then measure the voltage to determine the power output by calculation. Sending 2-3kw down a small wire means it's going to be a high voltage pulse; a carefully chosen resistor network can divide the voltages for easier measurement on an o-scope.
