Bronze Transducer

Should a bronze thru-hull transducer be bonded? I notice that most metal thru-hulls come with a backing nut that has a small screw for attaching your grounding wire.
Thanks

Tunamike,
I don't recall ever seeing a grounding screw on bigger bronze stem transducers. I have seen screws into the locking nuts of bigger flush mounted ducers but those are mainly used to keep the nut in place. One way to tell is to see if the screw is long enough to go through the nut and come in contact with the threads on the transducer.
