Hello to all.
I write from Italy, so excuse for my poor English.
It 'a bit' I follow you, and I see that you are very prepared.
I "inherited" a Furuno 295 - only instrument without ducers.
I use for fishing deep, 500 meters and beyond, max 600 meters.
I wish I could see the fishes there.
What transducer do you recommended? Chirp/no chirp? And also what type of installation best suited? I have an open 26 ' diesel engine, and I do not care to use the sounding at high speed, I just want to see the fishes on drifting. Near a wreck or a rock, I'd like to see if there are fishes around or not.
Thank you all for the advice that you give me.
ciao
