Hi, I want to change my Raymarine system with Furuno. I have bought DFF1-UHD. Do I need to change transducer B265LH which was used on Raymarine or it can be used with DFF1-UHD?

mvucic,

You can absolutely use the Airmar B265LH with your DFF1-UHD. Keep in mind that when you are wiring the B265LH, that you do NOT connect the Orange XID wire in this situation, and remember to select transducer by the “Model Number” in the DFF1-UHD set-up menu.

The DFF1-UHD has two unique features, ACCU-FISH and Bottom Discrimination, and if there is a connection of the Orange Wire, this can affect the accuracy of both ACCU-FISH and the Bottom Discrimination modes.

Here is the wiring diagram that you can use to help you wire the B265LH to the DFF1-UHD:

Thanks Deep Blue,
I have ordered Furuno B265LH and the seller brings me Raymarine B265LH and he told me that is the same. I connect it without violet and without orange wire and it works perfectly in shallow water. Attached is the picture at 44m when the engine is stopped. I have double-checked wire connections everything is firmly connected and grounding is perfect. What can be the problem here?

This image looks like there is a lot of RF/Network noise on the boat. This type of pattern interference is typical of that. I would double-check all of your grounds and make sure you have good quality and grounded cables with metal connectors.

Maybe Deep Blue has some better insight... :ugeek:
