I can access the gain, rain, and sea tuning functions consistently. I’m talking about the manual tuning slider that appears when you turn the auto tuning off located when you select [Furuno] >[Settings] >[Radar] located below Antenna height in the menu tree. With the system transmitting [TX] the option was there 1 day. The next time I looked for 2 days and it was gone. After I updated a couple charts it appeared again, and now it’s gone.
Johnny, Thanks for your speedy responses. The NXT is the only radar installed on the vessel. The option seems to be missing more than it is available, but when the option is available it does allow me to turn the auto tuning off and adjust the manual tuning slider. If this option is not supposed to be available for the NXT antennas would this cause any damage to the antenna, and is there a way to stop the option from appearing? or would it just be better to ignore it?
I'll dig into it more and reply if I find anything. Thanks again.
