Are there any way in NN3D to see the actual current and boat drift regarding to the course your heading?

Have you tried setting a route or a GoTo point and turning on the tracking feature?

The tracing is always on, and GO TO function are used on regular basis. How/ where will the actual current and drift show?
Neighter have I been able to read the VMG..? It usualy says 0,00* kn.

(On Raymarin plotters it showes as a blue arrow, where the length of it was corresponding to the drift.)

My NN3D got wind information from a B&G wind instrument (NMEA0183). On the NN3D screen I can read true or apparent wind in the data boxes if I have it configured that way.
The B&G also provide speed through water info to the NN3D.

I am not sure why you never get VMG to display if all the necessary data is there. It is probably best that you contact your local distributor. If you are a Furuno USA customer, that would be on our web site under SUPPORT and then on the left, select ASK FURUNO A QUESTION. Please provide photos of your NMEA 0183 setup page and the raw NMEA 0183 (Port Monitor) screen (in the setup wizard) for the port(s) you have the B&G going into.
