Any plans of expanding BD transducers for 587?

I am looking at purchasing the 587 and 1k transducer, but my boat is trailered and need a flush mount transducer, are there any plans of expanding the approved bottom discrimination transducers? specifically I am looking at the B164, otherwise I see no point in paying for the 1k 587 instead of the 600w 627 and not being able to utilize the power of a 1k machine.

I will ask FEC if they are thinking about testing any additional transducers. But can you clarify which B-164 you are looking at?

Yes, i am looking at the 526TID-LTD/20 specifically.
