Well...I just installed a new 1871 plotter and purchased a "local" C-Map 4d card for the west coast. I insert the card, hear a beep and go to Map Settings and scroll down to see C Map option is unavailable. I remove the card go back to the same spot and see that the C-Map option is highlighted. The plotter shows my location but the map whether Vector or Rasper is really crude. I get no difference whether the card is inserted or not. No bathy option. I hope that what i am seeing is the generic basic map and not what I paid $200 for. Help. Approximate location is the mouth of the Columbia River.
