I am trying to receive navigation data to my 1835 from my tztouch. Is the best way to go through a converter via can bus or the nmea port on my 711C autopilot? any input is greatly appreciated.
You can do either one you wish, both would work. However, if it were me, I would use a convertor such as the IF-NMEA2K2. If you use the NavPilot connection you will need to have it turned on all the time to receive the data.
