A acktate Guest Jan 16, 2018 #1 HI, WONDERING IF A FURUNO 585 IS ABLE TO USE A AIRMAR SS 270 W TRANSDUCER? THANKS
S Snips Guest Jan 16, 2018 #2 Acktate, Does the SS270 have a 10-pin Furuno transducer plug on the cable? Snips
A acktate Guest Jan 16, 2018 #3 The existing SS 270 W transducer is a working take out, the cable has been cut 18 inches from transducer to allow removal from the boat. The transducer was paired to a FCV 1100 sounder and the plug is a 4 pin plug. As the cable need to be spliced back anyways can a new cable with a 10 pin plug be used? Thanks in advance.

S Snips Guest Jan 16, 2018 #4 Acktate, The FCV-1100 used a dual line transducer and the FCV-585 uses a single. You can try using the MB-1100 matching box, but I can't say for sure how well it will work. Snips
