Hi!
I have installed a switch to be able to use silent mode and used purple and grey wires but it still transmitt. I can´t find the silent mode in the menu from my MFD do I need a PC to check the settings?

You have a switch connecting the wires that is constant and it still transmits? You can't use a momentary switch. The switch must keep the wires connected in Silent Mode.

The switch is constant and FA50 still transmitt. I don´t understand why I can´t see the menu for silent mode so I can check the settings.

The software menu selection you may have seen in the menu isn't necessary. Only the external switch is needed to place the unit in Silent Mode. The software setting you ask about requires the main board to be modified and typically not used because the external switch is much easier. You should open an official support case with your local Furuno distributor. Something is wrong if the switch isn't working.
