DRS4W sound when running?

One other question about my well-loved trusty 1stWatch radar.

I was testing it yesterday in its new installation -- powered up, tested with Furuno app -- and noticed something I had never noticed before. When powered up the unit makes an odd rhythmic hum/buzz sound which I can only describe as "like a 1950's movie flying saucer". I don't think I was ever near enough to it before to notice this sound (on my sailboat I used and tested it from the cockpit, far away from its position on the mast) so it may have been making this quiet, persistent noise ever since I first installed it. Or it might be something new -- corrosion, a bearing getting flaky -- after some years of service. If it indicates a problem I'd like to be aware of it!

So, thought I'd ask whether other 1stWatch owners have noticed their units making a vintage sci-fi hum or buzz when running.

There is a belt in the DRS4W that you might be hearing if close by, or the mast is resonating the sound.
