Depth Sounder Issue FCV-1150

Hi,

I have a sounder that I usually keep on fishing mode, and it works great. The other day the bottom track started to become a bit choppy. I checked settings, although this sounder has been installed for years. All the settings looked good. I even performed a factory reset. I have attached photos of what the data currently looks like. I have also attached a before photo (not the best but it's the only one I could find).

That looks like interference/noise. Did you recently add another sounder to the boat? If not it looks like your boat has developed a noise issue like a diode in the alternator going bad. Would recommend running the sounder and slowly turn off items till you find the source of the noise.
