Normally if running the newest software with XL, the TID chip will setup automatically.
If TID isn't recognized, you should select the 525T-BHD as the model as it is the closest matching. You do not what to select the TM260 as this combo uses the same housing but the elements inside are different and running it longer term as a TM260 (wrong setting) will likely damage your elements. You are absolutely correct that the elements are that of the B164 but not a selectable item. You will want to pick the 525T-BHD

Thanks again. I can't find the 525T-BHD in the TZT16XL tdr MENU which is the same tdr as Airmar B258. Which tdr from the current listing should we use if using 260 could damage the 165T-50/200-TM260 elements
