xm fish mapping

Has anyone tried the XM fish mapping yet? I am getting ready to turn my xm back on and I am thinking about adding it.

Although Furuno is working on fish mapping down the road it isn't currently an option with Furuno products. You must be talking about another brand. Sirius/XM works on the TZT2 but not fish mapping. The included NavCenter weather offers many similar weather features subscription free.

That isn't a Furuno website but we will shoot Sirius/XM an e-mail. Nice catch.

ok, any idea of when we may be able to use the fish mapping feature? Looks like a game changer.

When we get software that supports it. It hasn't been available very long from Sirius and Furuno just started to work on it. I would say we are at least 6 months off as a guess but COVID19 might play a role. I always say not to count on it until it is here. Have you tried the altimetry and plankton from the NavCenter weather? It is pretty much the same concept and free.

no where near the same concept,It is quite a bit more advanced. yes I use the free stuff,it is ok.
