Just purchased a 1982 Aquasport with a model 1622 Radar. When I plugged in the 3 pin power cable, the unit initially turned on and then shut off.
I could not get it to restart. I ran a meter check on the power cord and determined that I was getting 13 volts up to the connector. I also noted that there was bits of aluminum foil inside the male end of the connector. Apparently, the lazy genius who sold me the boat was using foil to complete the circuit probably due to some corrosion issue inside the connector. Long story short- where can I buy a new power connector and what is the part number?
