what's different between furuno PG-500 and PG-100 heading se

I have PG-500 and PG-1000 heading sensor, they are working well when I plug it to my 1954C radar. Please advise which one is better for my radar system. Thank you

They operate similarly, but the PG-1000 was primarily suited for commercial radar, AIS, ECDIS, automatic steering system and other internationally regulated navaids.
