What will TZTXL do with 220WX info?

RE: The "drift to" routing. Will the XL use info from the 220WX sensor for wind input and get current input from the SCX20?

Will the XL use weather sensor for any of it's calculations?

If you are referring to the Fish-It & Drift-It feature...that only requires position information. It does not use wind input at all.

The information about current is not used, but if it was, it comes from a tides & currents file in the TZTXL.

Hmmm, ok. That intrigues me even more and shows me that getting the weather sensor would be of no use to me.

If it only knows position, how does it know where to start the drift? Why doesn't it just start the "drift" from where it's at?
