I am trying to have input about the best transducer for use with Furuno GP1971F. The Chesapeake Bay is shallow and I usually fish in 20 feet of water or less. I will be transom mounting the transducer on my transom (Everglades 243).

Here are a couple options that I would recommend for you. The specs for them are very similar when it comes to beam width and depth but the difference is the 525T has temperature and the 525-5PWD does not have temp and different style housings.
