What 2kw transducer doer the 165T-PM542LM use? Also, can I run two chirp ducers to replace my ss264n pair?

Looking to upgrade my system to the new xl's and looking at the 165T-PM542LM to pair with a dff-uhd and wanting to replace my ss264n pair with maybe 175m/h's. Is that possible?

Thanks

The 165T-PM542LM is a combo transducer designed to connect up to both a DFF3D multi-beam sonar and also a suitable sounder.
What DFF are you talking about using? (DFF1-UHD or DFF3-UHD). And you want to run both the fish finder transducer in the combo and the B175? Maybe you can give a few more details?

Thanks for the reply. I am thinking about getting two 16xl's. I currently have a TzTouch 2 and a 3 with a scx 20 and a DFF-3d. I have a ss264n pair but would want to replace each of those with b175's. I also would like to get the 165T-PM542LM to replace my current dff3d ducer and add the dff3-uhf to get a higher powered ducer. But, I was curious which 2kw ducer was in that transducer.

The DFF3-UHD would be great for the fish finder using the normal fish finding transducer of the 165T-PM542LM (30-60 kHz and 80-130 kHz). You can run either CHRIP or CW and even manual CHIRP. If it were me, I would go with that for the fish finder and not worry about the B175s at all. Like with any transducer install, you want clean water and it should work awesome. The element is the largest that Airmar could fit in that combo, didn't doesn't exactly match anything that is put into other housings.
