Just bought a 2017 boat with a TZT2 unit. There is a yellow warning that says something like maximum points exceeded. I erased all way points and routes but still,get the warning. Any ideas how to reset? Also the unit is deck mounted in a holder. I would like to remove it from the boat when in its slip but the 2 wire bundles on the left side looking at the rear seem hardwired into the unit. Are there connectors down the line (below the dash it is mounted to in the bracket) that I can pull back up and disconnect them? Thanks.

It isn't the waypoints that the unit is talking about. It is the TRACK points. Your tracks must be set not to delete so either you have to delete them yourself or allow the machine to conduct auto deletion (reusing the oldest track point as it needs more). Try (HOME - SETTINGS - SHIP and TRACK - turn ON automatic track deleting)
