VX2 begins reboot cycle

I've had this problem with both the older VX1 and the newer VX2 I just installed this year.

After a day of trolling, when I come off power the VX2 begins a reboot cycle - clearly think it's a power supply issue. None of the other electronics reset and I just had the house bank batts tested today - all good.

Will the VX2 reboot at a particular low voltage number and/or after a certain drop in the battery charge?

Thanks!

As with anything it needs good power. Normally it will let you get as low as about 11 volts before shutting off/rebooting. If there is RF noise on the power of short interruptions like when starting engines; you might look into a power conditioner like the NewMar Start Guard.

Thanks Johnny. I'm going to put a meter in-line and monitor the power when this starts to happen. I find it hard to believe I'm dropping below 11v in these conditions. I'm also going to wire the AUX power leads from my engines to the house bank so they have more direct charge and not through the VSR only.

Appreciate the lead on the Newmar start guard, will research that as well.
