Upgrade tzt14 to xl

Want to upgrade my screens to 16xl ‘s was curious if existing gear is compatible with them
Now i have 2 tzt14 in wheelhouse and a 15” tzt2 on deck sensors include, a dff-3 with r509lm transducer dff-3d with widebeam trans , drs4d nxt radar , 711c ap i believe,, a rp33 and gd33 info sensors and a flir m232i ? Hope to just swap out screens and be good ??? Thanks for any info or pointers

Looking over your equipment list and it's all compatible with the XL units. The multi-generation MFDs will not work together, but as long as you are replacing all of the screens you will be good to go.

One thing to consider upgrading as well is the DFF3. It will still work just fine with the XL, however it is not a true CHIRP sounder. With the DFF3 you can select the frequencies you want to use but it doesn't do the full sweep of frequencies. With the new DFF3-UHD box you can take full advantage of that R509 and be able to get the full sweep of that transducers frequencies or you can lock it down to a fixed frequency like you have now. I think it would be a worthwhile investment and the DFF3 still has a pretty high demand so you could probably find a buyer for a used one.
