Tztxl not saving changes to waypoints

I just installed a tztxl13. 3 days ago I set a bunch of crab gear, marked all the waypoints and it saved them. Yesterday I moved the gear, marked new waypoints and deleted the old ones. When I turned it on this morning it had not saved any of my new waypoints and it had not deleted any of my old ones. I turned it off and on marking and deleting way points, and it just reverts back to that set of waypoints from 3 days ago I first put in. Please help.

What else is connected to your system? Are you also syncing your points to the cloud?

I know this thread is old, but I fixed the problem by factory resetting the unit. Worked great since then. Then a few days ago it began having the same issue.

The unit is networked to the auto pilot and that’s it, but it is not connected to the cloud nor do I even have a time zero acct.

When I turned the unit off the other day I held the power button for awhile longer than usual before releasing it to bring up the touch screen options. Could that have put it in some sort of mode?

I could factory reset but I would rather not go through the hassle of backing up the unit and setting it back up.

It sounds like there is something in the data of the points you imported. I recommend you send a copy to tech support via our website so they can run it through a filter to see if they can remove the bad actor or duplication.

The thing is I never imported any points into the machine. When I did the factory reset I just marked the gear on my backup unit and then when I went through the gear again I made new points.

I have videos of what’s going on, my dealer insists it is user error, and I am inclined to think so, but I can’t figure
It out.

I would get the video to technical support. Given as many units out there working it is unlikely to be a software bug but you never know.
