TzTouchXL 16: Target info window flashes on/off

Seeing new weird behavior on our tztouchxL 16. When I tap on ais or ARPA targets and tap “info’, the window animates in and disappears immediately (flashes on and off screen). If I tap on the chart, the window animates as if it’s closed (flashing on and off the screen). When I tap on Chart Object Info, the window displays fine.

I have restarted the device (left it off overnight). I’ve tried forcing the ui to redraw by switching from day to night view. The behavior happens no matter which chart is selected (raster, vector or bathy) and doesn’t matter if radar is transmitting or not. Happens no matter which view I’m in (full screen chart, split screen chart/radar, radar only with targets, etc). Tried toggling targets on and off. Tried disabling some of the gestures.

Some details about our install:
- there’s a tztxl 10 at the nav station that shows the target info just fine
- tztxl16 is at the helm with a remote control installed on the helm.
- running 25.11.1

Any ideas on what could cause this or what could fix it?

Excellent video, thank you for that!
Are both your TZT10X and TZT16X on the same software version? Can you post a photo of your sensor list?
Have you tried using the remote to select the ARPA or AIS info button? Did that work?
Was anything added recently between this feature working and not working?

I would try clearing the cache. FURUNO - Settings - Initial Setup - Service / Self Test / Log - Service
Once in Service, Utility Tab - Factory Default (press the setup button beside it) - select Memory Cache Clear in the drop-down menu.
It's never cleared user data or setting in my experience but it is always good practice to save these things first.

Thanks for your patience on my response…been on a multi-day sailing passage.

1. Both MFDs are on the same software version 25.11.1
2. When I use the remote control to select and view Info on a target, I see the same behavior
3. The one new thing added is a new Fusion (ms-ra670) head unit.
4. Nothing new added to the helm though we did have the helm disassembled when replacing the steering cables (didn’t touch the mfd but the remote was detached for the project.

Photos of our sensor list are attached.
