TZTouchXL 10 Interface to B260

Hi - new to this forum. Long time Furuno user and I currently have a Navnet VX2 for plotter and open array radar and a 585 for sonar. I'm considering upgrading to a pair of XL10 (or 13 if they will fit) and am wondering if my current flush mount Airmar B260 transducer will work.

If it will work can someone tell me what functionality I would be missing vs a current gen transducer? I'd like to avoid having to get the transducer removed/replaced if possible.

The B260 will work well. You would only use the provided 10 pin to 12 pin adaptor that comes with the TZT10X (or 13X) to adapt the transducer to the built in sounder. The B260 on one of my favorite transducers and if working, I wouldn't change it out. While CHIRP options can improve target separation and look nicer in shallow waters, you are not likely missing much over what you would have with the existing B260. It is already something you are familiar with and it is in place and working.
