TZtouch 14 lost map heading up

Folks hope you can help, I have a Tztouch 14, 2013 vintage running well. Over weekend after deleting some routes (or it is possible system updated over internet automatically) I lost the ability to change the orientation of the display to headup.

My system consists of TZtouch 14, DFF1 sounder, GP330 GPS.

To doubly confirm queries, I am sure I do not have a separate heading senso.

However, the data sources menu indicates it was using a GP700, whereas the network sensors menu did not indicate a GP700 installed.

Searching on the web, I can see historically references to the TZtouch software being upgraded to work without a heading sensor.

I have done a master reset and this has not solved the problem.

Help would be good,

The TZT14 hasn't been updated in many years (newest version is v6.03) and never had the ability to update software via wifi like the newer items. If you didn't change the software yourself, it isn't that. To have more than North UP you need heading, not just GPS or you must be moving and developing valid course over ground. Have you tried checking the setting when moving 3 knots or better? Did you mean you have a PG700? I am not aware of a GP700. If so, the PG700 is a NMEA 2000 device not network. It should show up on your NMEA 2000 sensor list. If not it sounds like you lost your source of heading and need to address the problem with the 2000 bus or PG700 compass.
