Hei.
I Have the NavNet TZtouch2 Chart Plotter and I have been looking for a camera to use. I have purches a Axis whit POE but that needs at least 44 Volt and I have 12 V in the boat.
So I have been looking at the FIP 460 and was wondering if it will work whit my plotter.
What should I look at the softwear version maybe in the plotter and if there is anything else?

Thankt you in advance.

Kjelli.

The FIP460 while is designed for the TZTXL, has been shown to work well on the TZTL12F instead of an Axis Camera. You would need to manually assign the IP address and configure the camera. The existing software shouldn't matter but it is always recommended to run the newest software for your MFD.

I just had one issue now and it is that the camera interfer whit the VHF. It makes static and it goes away when i disconnect the camera. Can it be the white connector were the cat 6 cable goes and the plug to 12V ? Is there any way to sheel this or do anyone has any idea on what the problem is and what I need to do?

Can you mount the FIP 460 on it's side (like on the outboard side of a flybridge, facing aft and down for docking). And can you mount it upright on a flat surface, aimed down, or does it have to be undermounted? I would like to mount one on top of a spreader (cruising trawler) but angled down at an angle for docking. Why aren't there any drawings that show the range of angles possible for mounting and aiming?

Aslo - what is the zoom level of the image?

You can mount the camera to the side of something and then then swivel it in the base to point the camera to the correct orientation. If needed to flip it, you will need a PC to change the mirror setting.
