I have been using furuno fcv 588 for 5 years.

I want to switch to the new furuno and get clearer images.

I'm devices with,
Furuno Fcv 588
Airmar Tm260
Furuno GP1971F

I actively use 588, I haven't tried gp-1971f yet.

My questions,

TZT3 12 & Can I see an increase in performance if I tried the old TM260?

tm260 hf angle is narrow, i can't see the fish

TZT3 12 & dff1-uhd which transducer should i buy?

Bottom Discrimination I want it to work.

I'm hunting with slow jig method, 100-650 feet I'm looking for fish at (30-200meters)
(rockfish, grouper, dentex, amberjack)

I'm hunting in the Mediterranean.

Furuno B275LHW
Low frequency: 42 to 65 kHz
25° to 16° beamwidth
Maximum depth of 914 m (3,000')

High frequency: 150 to 250 kHz
25° constant beamwidth
Maximum depth of 152 m (500')

Furuno B265LH
Low frequency: 42 to 65 kHz
25° to 16° beamwidth
Maximum depth of 914 m (3,000')

High frequency: 130 to 210 kHz
10° to 6° beamwidth
Maximum depth of 304 m (1,000')

B265LM
Low frequency: 42 to 65 kHz
25° to 16° port-starboard beamwidth
Maximum depth 914 m (3,000')

Medium frequency: 85 to 135 kHz
16° to 11° beamwidth
Maximum depth 457 m (1,500')

which do you think I can get the best performance?

Is it more reasonable to buy 2 transducers? tm185m and tm165hw can it be used together?

Thank you

Recep,
If you want Bottom Discrimination (Seabed Classification) you will need to use a 265 style of transducer. I would look at using a 265 with the internal TZT3 sounder.
