tzt2 won't recognize as card with 3.01 update

So I am trying to do the 3.01 update and I wiped and formatted a micro sd card and download the software update and unzipped it and put the unzipped files onto the sd card.. Then put it into my unit and when I push the power button it just boots up regularly.... Like it doesn't even see a change in the sd card.... Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I had the same problem with the upgrade. Turned out the unit didn't recognize the extended capacity micro-SD card for the software upgrade (works fine for the chart data, etc.). Bought a $5 4GB Transcend micro SD, loaded the software onto it and then no problem upgrading.

FYI, finding a card that small these days is tough, best bet will be a local camera store (where I got mine) or you may have to order online.
