TZT2 Waypoint Position Databox

I migrated from a VX2 system where I was able to have 2 databoxes, one showing my current position, and one showing my waypoint position.

On my current TZT2 system, I have only been able to display my current position in the data box.

I know that if I tap on the waypoint event marker, a pop-up box will appear showing the position / range / bearing, etc. However, after several seconds it goes away.

Is there anyway to permanently display the waypoint position, preferably in the data box?

Thanks,

GQ

The side databox on the TZT2 has a tab at the bottom of it.. Data/ROUTE/Radar. Hit the route tab while you have an active goto to your waypoint. Is that what your asking for?

Johnny,

I'm familiar with the side data box and each of the tabs Data/Route/Radar.

What I would like to do is put the Waypoint Position in the Databox in one of these tabs if possible, or anywhere on the screen for that matter.

I like to look at my current position in the format: 27 30.123N 83 40.123W, as well as my waypoint position in the same format ie: 27 33.123N 83 40.123W. This way I can look at the numbers as i get closer and know exactly where I need to position the boat relative to the waypoint. In the case above I know that I'm exactly 3nm south of my waypoint.

The problem with the pop-up box (when you tap on the waypoint marker), is that it goes away after just a couple of seconds.

Thanks,

Greg

Probably the easiest way to get what you want would be to setup your data box with "Cursor Information" along with your boat position. When you touch on the waypoint your cursor also goes there at that exact location. When the pop-up times out, the cursor information will remain as you continue.TZT2ScreenShot999.jpg
