In the link for TZT2 Version 7 upgrade instructions https://furunousa.com/-/media/sites.../tztl12f_software_update_procedure_for_v7.pdf there is a recommendation to “restart the software every 10 hours”. As much as I was looking forward to upgrading our TZT2 chart plotters, I will not be doing so while this requirements exists. It really is unacceptable and the software developer needs to fix the code so that it does not need restarting. We are sailing for days on a route with autopilot and we can not risk depending on software that may “reboot” in the middle of a passage or during a critical situation. Please communicate this requirement to NavNet. We would really appreciate an upgrade 7.1 that resolves this issue.
