TZT2 TRANSDUCER BEST PERFORMANCE SETTINGS

I am using Navnet TZT 2 12 and airmar p66 transducer. I am trolling in depts of less than 100m . İs this equipment sufficient for acheiving best information ? Secondly I cannot see the tracing of my rig on the screen . I would be pleased if you kindly send me the accurate settings of the device.

You are outside Furuno USA's sales and support area and we are not familiar with the waters which you operate. Generally a 600 watt transducer should be suitable for 100m.

Let me give a fisherman's answer. When you are trolling, most likely your line is at a 45 degree or greater angle. I don't know the beam angle of the P66, but I doubt it is greater than 25 degrees. You would therefore not bee able to see the tracing of your rig.

You could confirm that what i propose is indeed what is happening by lowering your rig to 150m depth while not moving, confirm you can see your rig, begin trolling & watch as your rig moves outside the sweep angle of the P66 & becomes unviawble

The beam angle of a P-66 is 45 degrees on 50Khz and 12 on 200Khz.
