TZT2 Networked with my TXT3's?

I currently have 2 TZT3's at my helm and am planing to add a used TZT2 in the cockpit for my guys to watch while fishing. I figure it will integrate into the system OK, but don't know if it will be able to use the heave feature from the SCX20.

As a second thought, the TZT3 12" MFD's have the buttons and rotary knobs on them and I was thinking of swapping one of them with the TZT2 since it is full touch screen and will be a bit larger usable screen. What is the difference between the 2 and 3? Faster speeds, features?? Will it integrate in as my main display for navigation/radar or will the difference be noticeable?

How about everything else? I have all Furuno (autopilot, SiriusXM, SCX20, radar). My left display is use for depth, my right side is for everything else but it has a wierd screen glitch every once in a while. I was thinking use the full screen TZT2 on the right and keep the TZT3 on the left for depth.
What is the main difference between the two?

Until last summer, I had two TZT3s at my main helm and a TZT2 at the tower helm. The NavPilot 711C autopilot, radar, charts, and sounder all worked fine on the TZT2. It’s noticeably slower but not a big deal unless you are frequently switching display modes. The SCX-20 is a NMEA2000 device and works as the source of position, heading, and speed for the TZ2 same as for the TZT3. Probably the only issue you might face is if Furuno updates the TZT3 software and introduces some features that don’t work on the TZT2. They seem to have stopped issuing updates for the TZT2. The TZTXL series cannot be mixed with a TZT2.

If you have not done so, you might try a hard “factory” reset on the unit that has the screen glitch and reinstall the last version of the TZT2 software. Although you can save and restore the user settings, it is better to rebuild them so you don’t risk bringing in a problem embedded in your old settings.

I will probably just put the TZT2 in the cockpit and keep the 3's at the helm.

My one TZT3 is not a constant problem. Every once in a while it will lose the picture on the screen in a small triangle starting at the center point of the boat position and going all the way to the side of the screen. Not always in the same direction. It just kind of flashes for a second and then comes back. But once it starts, it is constantly doing it every 10 or 15 seconds for awhile. Then it leaves.
